How to get to Casitas Azul Plata
( Drive carefully don’t speed, there is a lot of police)
Option 1: Via Tempisque Bridge (Puente de Amistad)
From the international airport of San Jose you drive on the highway to San Ramon and on to Puntarenas. At the intersection Puntarenas continue to Liberia.
Drive to the intersection (LIMONAL) make a left to the“Puente de Amistad”, on the end of the bridge turn left to Carmona.
Go in to Carmona after a little bridge turn right and the next right you will see signs ( PUNTA ISLITA). Follow these signs, go up the mountain and follow the road for 6 km, next Intersection turn left( Church on your right), go 2 kilometers and turn left again, now you go down the mountain for 11 kilometers , next Intersection La Solidad, turn left, follow the road for 12 km to Pueblo Nuevo on the Intersection in Pueblo Nuevo turn right, now is 2 km. the second entrance on your right side, there are signs Casitas Azul Plata, come up and the first houses on your left will be your home.
Option 2: Crossing the Gulf of Nicoya by Ferry
From the international airport of San Jose you drive on the highway to San Ramon and on to Puntarenas. On the Intersection Puntarenas turn right, follow the road trough Puntarenas on the final end is a park on your right there is the Ferry.
Take the Ferry COONTRAMAR to Playa Naranjo
Schedule: 6 a.m, 10 a.m, 2:30 p.m, 7 p.m.
Arrived in Playa Naranjo turn right to Jicaral, in Jicaral on the church turn left, follow the road about 25 km, then turn left to Francisco de Coyote there you make a turn right to Pueblo Nuevo on the Intersection in Pueblo Nuevo turn left, now is 2 km. the second entrance on your right side, there are signs Casitas Azul Plata, come up and the first houses on your left will be your home.
